Rodger Smith Joins ShopIQ as President and CEO

Dallas, TX — January 5, 2026 — ShopIQ, the Shopify-integrated commerce platform built for direct selling and community-driven commerce models, today announced that Rodger Smith has joined the company as President and CEO, effective December 1, 2025.

Smith brings more than two decades of experience at the intersection of direct selling, affiliate marketing, and platform technology. He has built large-scale distributor organizations, advised executive teams across the industry, and led the modernization of commerce platforms used by some of the most recognizable brands in direct selling.

Smith’s background includes building a large independent distributor organization at Xango early in his career, co-founding DirectScale in 2012, leading the company through multiple funding rounds, and helping guide it to a successful acquisition by Exigo in 2022. He has since worked closely with executives, founders, and investors to modernize platforms, reduce operational complexity, and support sustainable growth at scale.
