The direct selling industry gathers in April for what has become the most significant week on the annual calendar. As the CEO of ShopIQ and someone who has spent decades in this channel—starting as a distributor before moving into the software space—I find this particular event essential for anyone serious about the future of social commerce.

The DSN Global Celebration
The week kicks off the evening of April 14th with the DSN Global Celebration. This is the premier event of the channel, often referred to as the "Oscars of Direct Selling." The highlight is the reveal of the DSN Global 100 List and the Bravo Awards.
It is an unforgettable evening that recognizes the elite companies and executives who have reached the highest levels of achievement. For me, the value lies in celebrating the resilience of this industry and reconnecting with the leaders I’ve had the pleasure of building relationships with over the years. These connections are what I value most.
The Spring DSU Event
On April 15th and 16th, the focus shifts to an educational masterclass. The Spring DSU Event features a best-in-class speaker lineup covering the most relevant trending topics. The mainstage presentations follow a TED Talk style, featuring industry pioneers and visionary leaders.
The networking here is unmatched. It is the place where the real conversations about where we are headed as a channel take place.
Why I’m Looking Forward to It
My passion has always been about helping this channel thrive. For a long time, we have faced a persistent ecommerce issue. Very few companies or vendors have executed ecommerce well.
